Successful Authorizations KPI

Understand the significance of successful authorizations in your payment process.

Successful Authorizations

The count or volume of all payment transactions that were successfully authorized by the issuer or the payment service provider.

This will include transactions that are approved by a card issuer (i.e. cardholder bank), wallets or payment methods offered by a merchant.

There are different authorization transaction types, differentiating between single and dual message events:

- Stand alone authorizations

- Sales transactions (authorizations and captures)
